How you’ll contribute
An Office Coordinator excels at this role:
Updates policies and procedures to ensure practices remain compliant with federal and state regulations.
Oversees the financial processes of the clinics.
Reports to the Physician Practice Manager.
Monitors the general department email and completes and/or distributes tasks accordingly.
Runs and distributes a variety of weekly and monthly reports, including provider on-call and availability calendars, billing reports, and documentation reports.
Coordinates efforts that support staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagement.
Serves as first-line support for the electronic health record (EHR), including basic troubleshooting, merging duplicate charts, unlocking charts, and adding pharmacy and practice information to the database.
Reviews and complies with the LifePoint Code of Conduct and all relevant Company and Division policies and procedures.
Performs other tasks and projects as assigned..
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent Required; Associate Degree Preferred
Required Skills:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
